Share our passion for data

Exciting opportunity to join a team of analysts who specialise in using data and advanced analytical methods to deliver actionable customer related business insights. You will be part of a team who work across sectors developing custom solutions drawing on a wide range of multivariate analysis techniques.

This role is based in our office in Belgium (near Ghent) but will also involve regularly working with colleagues in the London office. Plus, for certain projects, it might also be required to work at our clients’ premises.

At boobook, we do not want to be academics nor pure mathematicians, but consultants who use all kinds of data to solve customer related business problems. In this role you will be required to understand the client's business issue and to deliver insights drawing on all your analytical expertise. You will be using a wide range of (multivariate) analysis techniques including predictive modelling, segmentation, text mining, deep learning, etc.

Just like us, you are curious to discover the stories behind the data and love to guide our clients through the meaning of their results and reports.

Grow with us

Working on a diverse set of projects gives you the opportunity to use and taste different techniques and to explore new ways of thinking. We are innovative and thus always looking for fresh ideas that help us and our clients to move to the next level.

This role is much more than a pure analyst role. It requires creative thinking, client communication (from sales to smart reporting) and thinking about how we can apply our skills and services to a wider set of business problems.

This role will allow you to have a say in how things are done, in a company where you will be listened to and your ideas developed.

  • have experience in predictive modelling and other machine learning techniques,
  • enjoy working in a team as well as taking responsibility yourself,
  • have in-depth experience with analytical software including R, Python, Spark, etc.,

  • above all, are willing to learn.

This is your chance to join a young team, passionate about analytics, and with an in-depth knowledge of a wide set of analysis techniques. You will learn fast, but will also get plenty of opportunities to make the difference.
